For those who attended the webinar, I'll be sharing the YouTube link with everyone once it goes live, so you can revisit the material and share it with fellow creative spirits. I'm also excited to let you know that I'm already planning to expand this into a full-length course — there's so much more we can explore together about weaving divination into our creative practice!
A quick reminder for our community: paid members receive 50% off everything in the shop, including magpie and tarot readings, and all the courses to come. Your support means everything, and I'm incredibly proud to be able to say that all profits from paid memberships (everything above payment processing fees) goes directly to support our local queer Community Kitchen, helping feed folks who need it most.
Now, let's dive into this potent eclipse energy that's been reshaping our world...
We stand at the threshold of profound transformation. This eclipse season has been dismantling old structures and calling us into deeper integrity, and now we face the final crescendo — a Solar Eclipse New Moon in Virgo to end eclipse season, followed by a fiery Full Moon in Aries on October 7th to bring us to what comes next.
This is a time when systems that no longer serve us reach their breaking point. Relationships, financial structures, even technologies may feel unstable or crash entirely. The Universe is asking us to stop chasing illusions of greener grass elsewhere and instead tend the soil where we stand. We're being called to budget not just our money, but our time and energy with sacred intention, recognizing that how we spend these resources reflects our deepest values.
Integration and Sacred Balance
The tension between precision and passion, analysis and action, creates a fertile ecotone - that biodiverse edge space where forest meets meadow, where river meets bank, where sea meets sand. What new life wants to emerge in your own liminal space? This eclipse season has sparked something that refuses to remain dormant.
In and out, light and dark, spiritual and material, angel and devil, Temperance is a card of active, quick-footed balance. Temperance has the discipline necessary to go all the way, even while straddling two entirely different worlds. This eclipse axis reminds us that we do not exist only in the spiritual or the physical plane.
Are we "physical beings having a spiritual experience" or are we "spiritual beings having a physical experience" — what if the answer is simply, yes? Spirituality does not exist in spite of physicality, and neither is the opposite true. Rather these aspects exist because of and in relationship with each other.
Temperance cannot divide themself in two clean halves. They are a whole being, in two different places at once.

As we leave eclipse season with a bang, a fiery Full Moon in Aries, we may experience a cathartic release and rebalancing of emotional energies guided by the New Moon in Virgo solar eclipse. This is a wonderful time to refocus on our own inner fire.
The angelic figure in this card pours water between vessels with practiced ease, one foot in the light, the other in darkness. They embody the art of integration without losing themselves in either extreme. This eclipse season asks us to develop this same fluid mastery — to be equally at home in our spreadsheets and our prayers, our activism and our meditation practice.
Journal Prompts:
Where in my life am I trying to separate spiritual and physical aspects that actually belong together?
What would change if I stopped seeing my material needs and spiritual growth as competing forces?
How can I practice active balance rather than static perfection in my daily life?
What two seemingly opposite aspects of myself are actually working in harmony?
Where do I need more discipline to "go all the way" with my integration work?
Awakening & Witnessing

For the second consecutive Virgo new moon, Human consciousness emerges as our guiding medicine. This repetition signals that awakening itself is the work — not a destination we arrive at, but a quality of presence we cultivate moment by moment.
But this isn't the consciousness that separates us from nature or elevates us above other beings. This is the awareness that recognizes our profound interconnection with all life. It's the consciousness that can witness our own patterns without drowning in shame, that can see clearly without becoming paralyzed by the enormity of what needs healing.
This card calls us to embody our unique gift as humans — the ability to reflect, to choose consciously, to change course when we recognize we've caused harm. In a world full of unconscious reactivity, choosing awareness becomes a radical act of service.
Journal Prompts:
What patterns am I finally ready to see clearly, even if they're uncomfortable?
How has my consciousness evolved since the last new moon in Virgo?
Where do I need to apply more mindful awareness in my daily choices?
What am I avoiding looking at that needs my conscious attention?
How can I use my awareness to serve healing rather than just personal comfort?
Accountability & Transformation
This invitation arrives as a gift, though it may not feel like one initially. The eclipse energy strips away our usual defenses and excuses, creating space for radical honesty about our participation in systems and patterns that cause harm. This isn't about drowning in guilt or shame — those emotions often keep us stuck in self-focus rather than moving toward repair and justice.
True accountability requires us to develop a different relationship with being wrong.

Instead of defending our past choices, we can acknowledge them, understand their impact, and commit to different choices moving forward. This is revolutionary work in a culture that often conflates admitting mistakes with personal failure.

Do you remember ever being taught how to apologize as a child? I love this viral classroom teaching aide for kids because it renders so clearly how empty so many of the apologies most of us have given and received in our lives really were.
This little apology template not only encourages us to acknowledge why what we did was the wrong choice, but commit to making a change. It centers self-awareness and actions as the site of change.
And while even the best apology can't fix everything, self-awareness and action offer us the opportunity to change even if our apology is never accepted or even heard by the person you harmed. While apology isn't the only form of accountability, this is an excellent framework to practice when accountability is necessary and we might find ourselves feeling a bit lost or reactive in our feelings.
Journal Prompts:
Where am I complicit in harm that I've been avoiding acknowledging?
What would it look like to approach my mistakes with integrity rather than defensiveness?
How can I commit to change beyond just feeling sorry?
What actions can I take to repair harm, even if my apology isn't accepted?
Where do I need to move from guilt into responsible action?
SMALL CEREMONY:
Eclipse energy doesn't end when the moon moves on - it ripples through our lives for months. These small, regular practices help you embody the medicine of this lunation in sustainable ways.

Daily Temperature Check
For Temperance Integration
Each morning, place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Ask: "What does my spirit need today? What does my body need today?" Notice if these needs feel in conflict or in harmony. Throughout the day, make one small choice that honors both - maybe it's taking a walking meeting, praying while you cook, or budgeting in a way that includes both practical security and joyful spending.
The Honest Hour
For Consciousness & Accountability
Set aside 15 minutes each week (perhaps Sunday evenings) to review your choices with gentle honesty. Ask: "Where did I act unconsciously this week? What harm might I have caused? What would I do differently?" Write down one specific commitment for the coming week. This isn't about perfection - it's about staying awake to your impact.
RITUAL:
This eclipse season finale calls us into the sacred work of integration - not choosing between spirit and matter, but embodying both with fierce integrity. The path forward requires both Virgo's careful discernment and Aries' bold action. May you walk it with grace and power.
🌑 New Moon in Virgo Accountability Altar
September 21
Create a sacred space for honest self-examination and transformation. This ritual centers the profound work of facing our complicity in harm with integrity.
You'll need:
A white or cream candle
Paper and pen
A small bowl of water
A fireproof dish
Salt or herbs for purification
The Practice:
Prepare the space: Light your candle and sprinkle salt around your altar area. This eclipse energy is potent — create clear boundaries for this sacred work.
Honest inventory: Using the apology framework, write out actual apologies for areas where you've caused harm or been complicit in harmful systems. Follow the template:
"I am sorry for..."
"It's wrong because..."
"Next time I will..."
"Is there anything I can do?"
Integration practice: As you write, notice any defensiveness arising. Breathe with it. This is Temperance work - holding both your humanity and your responsibility.
Action commitments: For each apology, write one concrete action you can take in the next lunar cycle. These become your eclipse promises.
Release and anchor: Burn the apologies that are complete, keep the action commitments on your altar as daily reminders.
Closing: Dip your fingers in the water and touch your heart, throat, and forehead. "I see clearly, I speak truth, I act with integrity."
🌕 Full Moon in Aries Inner Fire Rekindling
October 7
After the careful analysis of Virgo season, Aries demands we reconnect with our authentic power and take bold action.
You'll need:
Red or orange candles
Drumming music or your own percussion
A mirror
Bay leaves or paper for burning
Your action commitments from the New Moon ritual
The Practice:
Fire invocation: Light your candles and begin playing rhythmic music. Let your body start to move however feels natural.
Mirror work: Look into your own eyes and speak aloud: "I am ready to act on what I know. My fire serves justice and healing."
Movement medicine: Dance, shake, or move your body for at least 10 minutes. Let this movement burn away any remaining hesitation or people-pleasing that keeps you from your authentic power.
Commitment activation: Take out your action commitments from the New Moon. Read each one aloud with fierce intention. Feel your fire behind each promise.
Release what blocks: Write on bay leaves or paper anything that still blocks you from taking right action — fear, perfectionism, others' opinions. Burn these safely.
Integration: End by placing your hands on your heart and feeling your own life force. This fire is not separate from your spiritual path; it is your spiritual path when wielded consciously.
Closing: "My inner fire burns bright. I act with courage and love. I am ready."
